1 to 29 July (Daily 12:00–17:00)
I cultivate more that 100 traditional varieties of Lathyrus odoratus that I have imported from the UK, New Zealand and the USA. Even here in southern Sweden they retain their wonderful perfumes and beautiful flowers.
Come and enjoy the flowers and the gentle hum of the bumblebees.
Daily Programme for the Sweet Pea Festival:
I lead guided tours of the garden at 12:30, 14:00, and 16:00.
The tours last for about 30 minutes.
Sale of plants, seeds and cut flowers.
Coffee & Cakes for purchase.
SWISH transfers or cash only.
Parking is available in my meadow which is situated just before you reach the gardens. It is newly mown and there is a clipped pathway to the garden.
There is parking space for 5 or 6 cars by the house. These are intended primarily for people who are less physically able.
Groups are welcome by prior agreement.
My property, known as Rugerup 182, is situated in the middle of Skåne close to Stockamöllan and in between Höör and Eslöv.
Check out the travel instructions on my website. Note that there are two Rugerups if you are relying on GPS.
If you take a bicycle on the local Pågatåg you can leave the train at Stehag and cycle for 7 km to Rugerup 182 along mainly very beautiful roads. Cut across to Rönneholm. There are delightful walks in the neighbourhood while cyclists can enjoy the winding tracks.
